In the first half of March 2012 and over 3 days, in Terraza Carmona restaurant (Vera, Almería), were held gastronomic conferences and an assembly. The schedule of activities of the COMA was complemented with a visit of the members to the Experimental Station of the Fundación Cajamar (El Ejido), a technological center for the modern protected agriculture and sustainable development with an outstanding history of nearly 40 years, by the applied nature of its research projects and commitment to knowledge transfer to food industry. As a culmination of these 3 days of events and during the dinner at the cellar-bodega of the Terraza Carmona restaurant, the Club thanked to Mr Carmelo Jorge Blanco, mayor of Vera, his excellent disposition to assist the restaurant industry.
