A must for enjoying fine food and cuisine in Huelva. Founded by Mr. Juan Francisco Martín right in the center, Azabache was once a modest “Tapas-bar” before moving to a larger space in 2004, with a spacious dining-room, while retaining its popular and welcoming essence.
Fine daily fresh seafood cuisine: Gilt head bream, Sea bass, Dog fish, Tuna, Swordfish, the splendid “Gamba blanca” - white prawn, the star of the house… Fried, boiled, grilled, in sauce, smoked fish… Tasty “Coquinas” clams, other kind of, shellfish… The “choco” cuttlefish is also a most popular and emblematic product of Huelva: with broad beans, fried strips, with an onion dressing, grilled… “Jamón” - Iberian pork cured ham (probably the best of Spain) and “Gurumelo” - tasty mushroom, finest products from the northern Sierra, are also very distinctive and appreciated.
