On April 12, 1981 the Mesón Galego "Antoxo" opened its doors in one of the old houses of Torremolinos and made reality the "whim" of Juan Mariño to take a little piece of Galicia to the Costa del Sol... A year later it was extended with the acquisition of the adjacent premises and with these dimensions it continued for many years. Although Juan Mariño's desire for change did not cease at any time and he carried out numerous reforms. Always maintaining the original facade as a sign of identity.

Some time later, the adjoining premises, where the Típicas Tortas de Torremolinos were made, was joined to enlarge the rooms of the Mesón "Antoxo".

Juan Mariño is the owner of the restaurant and since he arrived from his native Vilanova to the Costa del Sol, he did not stop until he had satisfied his "craving" for octopus and a little ribeiro...

Since then, more than 40 years ago, Torremolinos has a restaurant to enjoy the delicacies of the sea, seafood freshly brought from the Galician estuaries and good wine.
