Terraza Carmona is one of the most important gastronomic references of Andalusia and its cuisine has been featured in countries like Mexico, Japan, Germany, Belgium… This family hotel-restaurant started in 1947 in the terrace of a summer cinema. Today, Chef Antonio Carmona, son, lovingly prepares dishes of a great sensitivity and surprising flavor. The flagship of the house -and the region- is the exquisite and unique Red Prawn from Garrucha (nearby town) one of the best products of the Mediterranean Sea. Some fish specialties are the Forkbeards, Sword Fish fry, Red Mullets in “ajo blanco” sweet garlicky dressing, Cuttlefish stew, many different Marinades… Fine meat is important too: small game meat, Hares, Partridges, Rabbits… Roasted young Goat or Lamb, Iberian pork cold cuts… Rice dishes… Home-made fine desserts and best wine list.
